My Final Goodbye

Each day I'm getting weaker
each day I become more frail
but God is letting me stay here
for just a little while

As the tears start to flood my eyes
and soon I'll have to leave
my days on earth are numbered
life is coming to a close

My final goodbye is to my kids
who are my pride and joy
I don't want to leave them
I don't want to die!

It seems I have know choice
Our Lord has summoned me
to dwell in his heavenly home
for all eternity
